Couch to 5K Training Course

Are you looking for a way to get ready for the annual Manzanita Walk/Run? Sign up for Couch to 5K. Designed to get you off the couch and running, this training course is a nine-week guide to running for all skill levels. Beginning with an introductory session at NCRD on May 10 at 4pm, the course will meet for nine weeks on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Each session will begin with stretching, strengthening exercises and expert training tips. Training will continue in earnest as participants walk or run, increasing gradually to a 5K (3.1 miles) distance, just in time for the annual Manzanita Walk/Run.
